Terms and Conditions
We appreciate your selection of The Imaginarium Studio and Jo Jago Art. We are pleased to invite you and/or your young artist to our artistic community. Please review our Terms and Conditions below. By completing a purchase with us, you are confirming your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.
Minimum Age - Children's after school class minimum age is typically 8 years, unless specified otherwise. Contact us for guidance if you have a younger aspiring artist to discuss class availability.
Special Needs - We are not equipped to educate a full class of special needs students, but we welcome special needs children and adults in our classes. Art is an excellent medium with heartwarming success stories, particularly with special needs children benefitting greatly. Prior contact is necessary before booking to ensure suitable support in our group classroom environment.
Class Bookings - Payment of tuition must be made by the specified date unless other arrangements have been made. Additional reminders will incur a $10 administration fee. Tuition cannot be transferred, and class bookings are made on a term-by-term basis.
No Refund Policy - All classes and workshops are non-refundable. However, we recognize that circumstances may change. At our discretion only, a credit may be available to you if you cancel with a minimum of 30 days’ notice before your class begins or 14 days’ notice before a school holiday class starts. Sadly, cancellations received after these deadlines cannot be refunded or credited. No credit will be given if your class booking is taken 1 week or less prior to the class starting. In the event of class cancellation, a pro-rata refund or the option to attend a replacement class may be provided, at our discretion.
Illness - In the interest of community health, especially for individuals with compromised immune systems, we request that students exhibiting illness, coughing, sneezing or respiratory symptoms stay home until fully recovered. If a student appears unwell upon arrival, we will notify caregivers for pick-up. If you yourself are feeling unwell, we kindly ask that you refrain from attending class to help maintain a healthy environment.
Non-Attendance - If you are unable to attend a class due to illness or for other personal reasons, we are unable to offer refunds or class transfers for any missed sessions. This policy also applies to absences due to Covid-19, influenza, or other illnesses or injuries.
Class Postponement - In the event of tutor illness or other unforeseen circumstances, our very best efforts will be made to secure a replacement tutor. If this is not feasible, the class may be delayed with the session rescheduled. Prompt communication will be made with all participants should this occur.
Disclaimer - We are committed to delivering all courses as promoted. However, classes are subject to minimum enrolment numbers and may be cancelled if these are not met. We may occasionally need to modify course content as necessary but will always communicate significant changes wherever possible.
Disruptive Behaviour - We strive to create a fun, welcoming and safe environment for each student. We reserve the right to exclude any student whose behaviour is disruptive, does not follow guidelines, or poses a risk to themselves or others. Caregivers may be contacted to collect students displaying disruptive behaviour during class time.
Lost Property - While we take every care, we cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged personal items brought to class.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to sharing a wonderful, creative journey with you at The Imaginarium Studio!
