White Nights watercolour paints have been produced since 1934. Manufactured using the finest pigment particles, gum arabic and honey, these watercolours have a soft consistency that enables the artist to easily lift the colour from the pans. Three-quarters of the paints in this range are made from single pigments and the whole spectrum of colours is strong, easily mixable and lightfast. Highly recommended for beginners, they offer outstanding value for money and are artist-grade pigments.
You will receive a selection of xxs (0.5ml), xs (0.75ml) or small (1.0ml) pans from the following colour selection* - lemon, cadmium lemon, cadmium lemon medium, yellow ochre, golden deep, cadmium orange, English red, cadmium red light, ruby, carmine, madder lake red light, quinacridone lilac, ceruleum blue, bright blue, cobalt blue, ultramarine, turquoise blue, emerald green, green light, green, raw sienna, umber, sepia or lamp black
Please note the photographs are indicative only, you may receive a wider selection of extra small mini pans, or a more refined & curated selection of slightly larger small mini pans, depending on the pans available to Jo at the time.
The cute mini-boxes come in your choice of light maple-coloured wood or dark walnut-coloured wood or plastic.
The wooden box lids easily slide on and off and are secured in place by magnets when not in use, so the lid will not slide off by accident.
Unique to Jo Jago Art, you will not find these anywhere else.
The wooden boxes also come with a bonus of a mini-spray bottle and a mini-pipette, perfect for adding water to your paints to soften them before you get going, or to add to your colour mixes to achieve the perfect consistency. (The plastic boxes do not).
* Please note that the mini-paint pallets are hand-poured, and because of this the exact quantity may vary somewhat. The pans are also subject to the environments they are kept in, and coming from Wanaka they will have condensed a fair bit from the dry climate, and may not appear to be full to the brim and may arrive looking cracked. This is totally normal, and it simply means that the water content of your paint pan has evaporated and the high-quality paint pigment has shrunk into the pan somewhat and condensed, but you will still be receiving the same quantity of pigment in your pan ... just add water and paint away as usual, knowing that the pigments will be super pigmented and strong when you paint, so start with just a tiny bit and work up to more if you need it.
* Colours may vary
